Inverness Yacht Club Youth Sailing Program Benefit Event
Wednesday July 10th | Tickets available  | Admission $75

About Inverness Yacht Club Youth Sailing Program Benefit The IYC Youth Sailing Program offers summer instruction in sailing for young people.  In addition to sailing principles, boat handling and basic water safety skills, the program teaches sportsmanship, respect for one another and the environment, as well as an appreciation for Tomales Bay. Although the focus is on learning through fun activities, for those that are interested, there is also an opportunity to develop racing skills.

The program is organized through the efforts of the IYC Youth Sailing Committee and run by a group of enthusiastic qualified instructors who are experienced sailors. The young sailors come from West Marin as well as around the Bay Area and even from across the country.  Scholarships are given to those who need financial support and to ensure a diverse community of young sailors.   The program continues a 50-year tradition that has produced some world-class racers and many more sailors who have found a lifetime of pleasure sailing as well as many happy and self-confident young people.

An evening of World Class Scottish Music with Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas @ Inverness Yacht Club  | December 2nd | Tickets available 7:30-10:00 pm | Admission $50

Internationally acclaimed Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser (from Inverness, Scotland) and cellist Natalie Haas are coming again to the Inverness Yacht Club for a special benefit performance for the IYC Youth Sailing Program (YS).  Alasdair and Natalie perform world wide and are among the most highly regarded artists preforming Celtic music.

This again will be a very popular event as Alasdair and Natalie have a wide and enthusiastic following in the greater Bay Area.  Attendance will be limited to 140.

Tickets are $50 per person with proceeds going directly to the YS program.  The program will be from 7:30-10:00 on December 2.  Refreshments will be served, AND there will be a special Malt Scotch sampling in recognition of the spirit of the evening.  Tickets will be available for purchase on the IYC website for club members.  Non-members will be able to get tickets on the Saltwater website (events) where there will be a link for this benefit performance.  It is strongly recommended that tickets be purchased early as this is likely to be a very popular event.  Last year’s performance was a sell-out and there were some very unhappy people who couldn’t get tickets.

Table Top Farms Benefit Event - March 29th

Saltwater regularly purchases sustainably farmed produce from Aarron Wilder that is grown just a few miles from the restaurant.

This past winter, the storms were not kind to his Table Top Farms, destroying newly erected fencing and farming equipment. His ability to increase his crop production and diversity were significantly impacted. We believe in Aaron and his dedication to his Farm so we're hoping you'll join us to help him be ready for this upcoming season.
